Ken has been a CPA for 45 years and was a co-founder of Northbrook Investment Management when it was formed in 2002. Ken has expertise in the areas of income tax, business valuation, financial planning and investment management.
Ken received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Western Michigan University in 1974 and worked for Plante and Moran for 6 years. He joined Dart Energy in 1980 as their Treasurer and Vice-President of Finance and left there in 1986 to form Flintoff and Klein, CPA’s. He retired from Flintoff & Klein 2017. While at Flintoff & Klein he co-founded Northbrook Investment Management.
Ken holds a Series 65 (Uniform Registered Investment Adviser) securities registration and a CPA certificate.
Ken is a member of the Michigan Association of CPA’s (MICPA). He is a board member of St. Vincent Catholic Charities, The Greater Lansing Food Bank, Bishop Alber Trust Funds and is a Meals on Wheels volunteer through the Lansing Tri County Office on Aging. He is married and enjoys bicycling, golfing, MSU and Detroit professional sports and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
